The Moses Cone Park Trail
The Moses H. Cone National Park borders Chetola and features 3600 acres of beautiful woodlands with miles of trails for hiking, jogging, horseback riding and cross country skiing. (See map)

The Maze Trail
(Approx. 3 miles) Once on the trail, you may turn right or left. If you turn left: Take a right at every fork and you will make a complete circle. If you turn right: Take a left at every fork and you will make a complete circle.

Bass Lake
(Approx. I mile) Once on the trail, turn left and continue to Bass Lake.

Trail to Moses Cone Manor House
(Approx. 5 miles) Once on the trail, turn left and continue to Bass Lake. After crossing the bridge, turn right and start up the hill. Turn left at the next two forks (the second fork is almost a "U" turn). Continue to Cone Manor House. You may return the same way or continue on past the Cone Manor House. Turn left at the next fork and continue on to Bass Lake. At the next intersection, turn right on the trail and continue back to Chetola.

Black Bottom/Watkins Road Trail
(Approx. 4.6 miles) Once on the trail, turn left and continue to Bass Lake. After crossing the bridge, turn right and start up the hill. Turn right at the next fork, then turn left at the Apple Barn. Continue on for approximately 2 more miles and turn left at the next fork. At the last fork, turn left again and continue on back to Bass Lake.
